Segundo Colbert, a partir de ante-ontem, Oregon é o Portugal de Idaho, através do processo de wikiality.
No wikipédia, já se transcreveu o episódio:
On July 31, 2006, Colbert aired a segment of "The Wørd" about Wikipedia, introducing the false concept of "wikiality," the process of editing information on the site and getting enough users to believe you that it, in a sense, becomes an accepted reality. On air, Colbert pretended to vandalize both George Washington and an article about his own show. At the conclusion of the segment, he encouraged his viewers to vandalize the elephant article to say that "their population had tripled in the last six months" in an effort to demonstrate "wikiality" at work.
Lembram-se dum livro do Saramago (é dele não é?), em que alguém abre o livro da sua vida e vê as palavras a escreverem-se à sua frente e diziam "ele pegou o livro da vida e leu..."
No Wikipédia escreveram "false concept of wikiality..." Será? Será que agora tem é nome?
